As President / CEO, Scott Ewers leads the Hertvik Insurance Group management team with over 20 years of insurance industry experience. Since joining the Hertvik Insurance Group in 1999, Scott has served in many capacities, including Account Executive and Vice President of Commercial Lines. Utilizing the experience gained earlier in his career as a Commercial Lines Underwriter for a leading carrier, Scott's leadership successfully propelled the growth of the commercial lines division.
Later as President, Scott founded SIA of Northern Ohio which today operates as a network of more than 40 insurance agencies. SIA of Northern Ohio is a Master Agency for SIAA, the largest network of independent agencies in the United States with over 3,500 member agencies nationwide.
Scott graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1990 with a degree in Insurance. He earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1998, and the Construction and Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation in 2010. Scott has served on numerous statewide and national carrier advisory boards throughout his career.
Scott and his wife Deena live in Medina with their three children.
